The Pain Clinic of Northwestern Wisconsin was founded in 1991 to meet the continuing and growing needs of patients suffering from acute, sub-acute and chronic pain. When suffering from pain, patients can frequently endure symptoms for substantial lengths of time prior to seeking medical care. Often times, this is related to traditional values of placing hard work and family before one’s own symptoms of pain.
Understanding this, we pride ourselves on providing rapid and direct access to an experienced, multidisciplinary team of board certified physicians and nurse practitioners who diagnose and treat and, when needed, provide same day therapeutic, minimally invasive, pain interventions to return patients to work and family. No referral is required by our team, which accelerates your treatment.
A multidisciplinary approach to pain management addresses not only symptoms of pain, but also function. Use of physical therapy, medication, and advanced medical technology are custom tailored to the individual in concert with interventions, such as epidural steroid injections, to improve strength, agility, balance and endurance to optimize your function. Whether that means returning to work, competitive sports or maintaining the ability to live independently, our experienced team will utilize the most current treatment modalities available to maximize your outcome from treatment. We also work with the network of medical colleagues in the community to ensure that our patients' health issues are treated and medical management plans are carried out to assure the patient has the best chance of restoring function.
For over the past 20 years, and continuing into the present, our approach to pain management has set the standard in meeting the needs of tens of thousands of patients throughout Northwestern Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota. In servicing over eight locations in the region, we come to you. If you are suffering from pain, there is no need wait for an assessment. You will be treated with respect, dignity, and empathy.
